ECE computer account information

The CSG is in the process of migrating to a new account management system. This page has answers for most questions about the new system.

Why do I need an ECE account?
An ECE account is required for many ECE classes. It also provides you with an email account and access to our computer labs.

Who qualifies for an ECE account?
Any student enrolled in classes in ECE and any employee of ECE qualifies for an account.

What is required to get a new account?
You must have a NetID to get an account on the ECE system.
How do I create a new account?
To create a new account please go to the ECE account management page.

What is my new password?
Passwords on all new and migrated accounts will be set to be the same as your NetID password.

How do I reset my password?
If you need to reset the password on one of your accounts you can go to the ECE account management page and reset it there.

What is NetID?
NetID is university wide online personal identifier. To create a new NetID or for assistance with a NetID including changing passwords please visit https://netid.arizona.edu.

How long do I get to keep my account for?
Your ECE account stays active as long as you have a NetID. NetIDs usualy do not expire until 18 months after you are no longer affiliated with the U of A.
